ABOUT JACLYN

Jaclyn’s training began in Youngstown, Ohio. She went on to achieve her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts degree from the Ohio State University with a focus in technology, production and performance as well as arts management. Named in the Who’s Who National Registry for Business owners in 2007-2013 and National Registry for Professional Women in 2014, Jaclyn’s fearlessness pushed her first LLC, CORE Academy of Movement, to become the fastest growing dance school in Burlington County, NJ and is recognized by Dance publications for her marketing techniques and success since 2004. Jaclyn works as a consultant for various Dance publications in areas such as marketing, curriculum writing, early childhood dance programs and business management and was featured in Dance Studio Life Magazine in 2006 as a dance professional under the age of 30.

Jaclyn was a franchisee of the brand, Fit4Mom beginning in 2012- the brand focused on healthy lifestyle balance for Moms with new babies, incorporating safe and healthy fitness and worthwhile baby bonding.

In 2018, CORE was accepted into the I.D.E.A. (International Dance Educators Association), an international organization for excellence in dance education and entrepreneurs, directed by Rhee Gold.

Jaclyn holds a multitude of certifications in pre/post natal fitness instruction and health, Pilates, Yoga and cross-training. She maintains professorship at American colleges and universities implementing dance technique and movement fundamentals and more recently began teaching courses for aspiring business owners in the field of Dance.

In 2020, Jaclyn was the Executive Producer for The Nutcracker drive in movie, with technical production by Christopher Winkler and choreography by Emily Kimble. The project premiered as a drive-in movie and was awarded a B.E.A Award for outstanding children's content and a Telly, bronze, for children's content.

Smith worked as a New Account Specialist for Dance Studio-Pro, and is currently a Client Resource Liaison for Rhythm Works Integrated Dance and Intellidance Companies, working directly under global director, Tricia Gomez Luzio. She helps guide teachers, occupational and ABA therapists, toward course work to enhance their practice, and evaluates certifications. Using a lifetime of studio ownership in dance arts, Jaclyn also advocates for dance events with Dance Device Lab with Brandon Cournay. In 2023, she began a partnership with Kathryn Kennedy to help provide virtual assistance and new-business building blocks for first time business owners known as Studio Advantage!
